The pull cord broke on my gas echo weedwacker. I took the case apart to attempt to re-tie the cord, and the tension spring popped loose. Now I can't get the spring wound back up tight enough to get back in the case. Is there some kind of trick to accomplishing this?
Since you are not experienced in rewinding the spring I would suggest that you buy a new spring, it will come already wound up and be easy to install and is not that expensive, maybe 3 or 4 dollars.
