Looking to buy a new entry level blower and have narrowed it down to 4 that fit my price range:

Ryobi Green 2 stroke ($198 from bunnings)
Makita RBL250 around $249
Stihl BG56 around $249
Husqvana 125B around $249

any thoughts? i am after the most reliable and best resale value?

Thanks

I have a stihl, and personally its better than any of the other blowers I have used.

I had a homelite one - garbage after a season
A poulan one, rubbish after using the vacuum attachment, the small twigs smashed the impeller
Ryobi - bunnings - says it all.

Im pretty sure mine is a BG72, doesnt matter if its sat a week or a month it starts easily and has lots of oomph. makes sweeping the paths and shed out very quick and easy.

Hi guys, the mowing contractors that mow the units next door to my place also use Stihl blowers...always semm to start first pull and do a great job....admittedly, they are working all the time...but reliability must count when making a choice. wink

I ended up buying a hitachi/tanaka blower for $149. Very good unit smile
