Today I spent a while fixing up a late model brigs quantum on a crap base that suffers from mower abuse ( not done by me ) anyway it came as a mower and a Box of pieces so got it all going. Leaned down looking awesome ready to put on another base. I pull it off the base only to realize the shaft the blade boss joins to Is like an inch or more shorter then a normal briggs Nd it was not the original base anyone have any ideas what kinda. base it fits or if there's an adaptor to fix cause I kinda don't wanna sacrifice it to the mower gods as its a good motor
