Sounds like a good thing. 720 bases without the front broken are hard to find.
Briggs motors from way back when to new ones now still have the same mounting pattern.

Yes they are hard to find,also yes I was thinking that the bolt pattern was the same.The one I pulled the engine off of last week did have a extra hole.I was thinking that properly is the other hole..
