dday guys i have a cox mod 5398a and have a few queries 1 is there a servicable limit on the drive cone diameter 2 in the user manual they refer to a setting gauge for the clearance between the cone and driveplates any idea of this dimension 3 it is a 40 inch deck with blade approx 140 mm long clock wise rotation viewed from above and approx 3/8 bolts any idea of the part no many thanks and regards skinny

There is an Owners Manual and Parts list for the Cox 5398a in the Manuals and Parts List area which may come in handy and answer your questions....access is by subscription and the "How To" guide is located in the first couple of threads in any forum topic.

thanks for the reply deejay i have the manual that comes with the mower and it only refers to the setting gauge not the actual size or the serviceable size of the cone just trying to get the info before i order the spare from this site if available again thanks and regards
