This I believe is a bit of a bitsa. The bloke I got it off said that he made it up years ago from parts collected here and there. It's a Kirby 4 stroke. I'll probably re-use the base seeing as it's a side throw. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/12/full-4857-4403-pc040095.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/12/full-4857-4404-pc040096.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/12/full-4857-4405-pc040106.jpg)

Would you be able to put up a few more pics of the workings of that fuel gage on the back?
It's put together well, you could have convinced me it was an original turner!
Cheers Ty

Honestly, I don't know how original it is! The starter isn't I'd say. The guage is actually an oil change reminder. I'd say you have to manually adjust it after each hour of use??? It's marked in 15 min graduations, but it only idents every 30 mins. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2011/12/full-4857-4420-pc050003.jpg)

Wow, I haven't seen that before, is is the top of the fuel cap?
the starter looks Victa, but then again those starters were not exclusive, the plate on the top is for a decorative chrome cover.
I imagine a number of the parts were from other turners, while I'm not sure the engine model was used on that mower, the cowl,a nd quite possibly the engine seem very turner to me, so they may have been pulled from another turner.
Cheers Ty
