Hi Ian, and welcome to Outdoorking. Is your White actually the same as an MTD model? Can you give us a link to see the manual for the MTD it is the same as? Is there a White manual, and can you give us a link for that? At the moment I have no real idea what your mower looks like or how it works. Unless there is someone here who has or used to have one with the White model number you have given, we have no starting point. We currently have no White ride-on manuals here.

At last, an easy question! If you look at the Quick Reply box, you'll see a row of icons above the typing space. The fifth one from the left is for adding images. Just click it, and in the screen that opens click Browse, find the file on your local hard drive, click Add File from Your PC, then repeat for up to ten images. When finished click All Done.

Ian, That is the only springs and if you look at the picture you will see that the linkage fit direct to the deck which the springs are attached to. Are you talking about springs for belt tensionsioning and blade brake etc?

hi bruce the springs i am trying to locate are the ones that assist the deck when either raising or lowering , there is a long one and two shorter ones that actually conect to the deck and chassis , and i believe they help pull the deck forward or backwards ?? ian

Ian, Where did you get the model number from? That model deck does NOT have springs attached according to the MTD/White. I have rechecked and unless you supply the correct model number you will continue to go round in circles.

Ian, the tenant's improvements seldom have a positive effect, so putting it back to the way the parts list shows is likely to be a step toward getting everything working properly.
