Hello All, heres a couple of pics of the powerplant behind the 'Villiers Tank' I found a little while back. New freewheel and spring for the kickstart together with some general TLC and she's ready for action once more.
Congratulations Craig, you've made that ugly engine beautiful. That other device beside the Villiers looks like something it cannot be: a 2 stroke engine direct-driving a very unlikely design of air compressor, probably a 2-cylinder with 2 counter-rotating crankshafts. Say it isn't so! Not even the British would have built such a thing.
Heheheh...my top secret air compressor project is ruined!...after all this time. Seriously though, I put the Midget and Suffolk alongside to give a little perspective of just how big the 25C is. They do look connected though don't they?
Hi Craig, on a fantastic job there mate, it looks just fabulous....a great resto mate!!
