Put out on a council clean up pile i saw this the other night. I stopped and had a look at it and kept driving... I kept thinking about it and i went back to see if it was still there and Picked it up the next morning. Its an old one by the looks of it. Says Mark 2 Series 70 on the side of it.

Its missing the carb & the starter off it and needs a clip to hold a wheel on but i'm sure i could find one in the shed.

What type of starter did these run and what type of carby? I think i read somewhere that the G3 suits them?

Also what vintage is it?..

Cheers

Josh

Josh, its a Utility and I would guess its meant to have a zip starter like this one. By the look of the muffler (a bit later model) and the air filter snorkle it should have a flag carby.

I have several of those utilities, all have G3 carbys.

All have a zip start the same as the one in MVCs pic.

After receiving the Carb & Starter today from Bruce i have decided to pull this one down and give it a respray and a general tidy up. I'll make sure i get lots of pics!

Cheers

Josh
