Gday guys changed engine on my old victa today (powertorque) I noticed after swapping them over the new motor does not sit flush to the base, the engine and base are 2mm or maybe 3mm apart, doesnt look right but im sure it would be coz I looked on the bottom of the old engine and noticed theres a small rise where the main engine bolts go through, also has the same rise on the mower base, it just looks a bit strange with the plate flopping about, working and sounding fine just looks really wrong ?

does that sound right or should I post a picture of what I am talking about ?

A pic may help, as I thought all power torques mounted basically the same.

tis ok, seen one at mower shop & it had the same amount of clearance.
