I have scored 2 more 160 Fullcrank mowers and plan to make 1 working mower out of the 2. I am struggling to get the throttle cable to stay where its supposed to in the G4 carby. Its driving me insane! Any ideas?

Cheers

It can be a dead set bitch to do, Best way I found when I had never done it before was to pull the back, diaphragm, springs, etc from the carby and work from both sides to clip it in.

I still hate doing that job.

Cheers.

Yep thats a good video showing how to get the throttle cable on. Just make sure you do not install the diaphram upside down like he does.

Thanks for the video... its great.
Which way round does the needle go (the 2 ends are different)? And how loose should it be - should it rest on the float?

Mate if it takes you that long to insert a cable you need to give up as the plastic are really simple to install. cheers2
