We have this 'cheetah' from Bunnings. Has a briggs and stratton 127cc in it. Won't settle down and run. Runs, nearly stalls, gets going again, nearly stalls, gets going again..
Seems like a fuel block to me.
Any advice/instructions on what to do?
Here's all the numbers I can find if they are of any help:

On the aluminum block: SUMEC SE130

On the top plastic cover: SMV
Part: 1003227004

Back Flap: M/N : 2691812

First of all, its not a briggs motor. its a cheap sumec chonda motor that is used on aldi and mitre10 mowers as well as higher level victas (v127, v144, v170)

Either pull the carby off, remove main jet and emulsion tube (follow a honda repair video) or go to a victa dealer (or Bruce on ODK) and get 80090531 (complete carby) for $80

Or go back to bunnings and buy an entire mower for $198

My recommendation is do not put much money into it - they are a lousy engine end up smoking and die prematurely

Hi Tyler,
I have found with these Chondas is I get about a 50% success rate with these carbies going through the Ultrasonic, no idea why buy I keep trying, some work after a thorough clean but others just are still problematic. As you said not worth spending too much on them And if I do fix one up and change the oil, sharpen the blades and sometimes put a new carby and often spend an hour or so fitting a Victa catcher on them I usually only get $60 anyway
