Im trying to find this part or hopefully be pointed in the right direction please.

The local mower guy here in Renmark has found the issue but i need to get my hands on this clutch rubber/spider.
I dont know much about them but im hoping to her running again.

When I've had a drive coupling on a small petrol engine that was decades old ,I've just replaced the complete unit with a newer type.

Unless you can find someone who can make the part ,like 3D printing etc ,sometimes you can buy a different coupling cheap at a car swap meet.

Thanks heaps for the info mate, planning on going into local engineers as i know they do the 3D printing. Hopefully the cost doesnt outweigh the price of the mower.
Do you know if other barrel mowers use around the same coupling at all? might pop into lawn bowls and see if they have an old one or parts maybe.

No I don't know any other mower you could get the coupling from but you should be able to find something on eBay that will fit ,I've seen couplings from China with free postage for around $34.

It's probably not worth spending too much to fix this mower because you may find a better mower cheaper than the repair.

$34 isn't too bad to fix your mower though, just check all the diementions before buying.

Hi Brett,

I would measure up the existing coupling and check with UK suppliers to see if they are the same as the later couplings that are being sold. There are a number of UK mower parts retailers that appear to have stock.

Alternatively, you could contact the Australian Allett distributor to see if they can assist with details and if they have any stock here (Allett acquired all of the Atco designs, tooling etc and now produce them under their brand).
