Yes kudos Matt for accomplishing the objective , your mower has the 2 extra pulleys compared to some other models because the two clutch pulleys aren't mounted in the centre of the frame and are offset so the v belt
from the motor needs these two extra pulleys to align the v belt with the 2 clutch pulleys.This also makes room
for the battery to be installed next to the clutch pulley.


(Greenfield bolted these idler pulleys to their mount plate before welding the mount plate to the frame. Not helpful. )

That's common for manufacturers to do the least amount of work and to make it more difficult for the general public
to do repairs so people have to pay for repairs at a service centre etc.

It could be worse at least mowers don't have the starter motor inside the engine.
