Mate has given him back the tank and told him he will have to work it out himself. He said he will take the tank into Ballarat and see if he can get somebody to weld it up. I said to my mate tell him good luck with that idea

Problem solved at last.


Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Another option I have thought about is encasing the tank in fiberglass, maybe 3 layers of matting. Probably cost $100 for the materials but getting another tank if he could find one is a road to nowhere because they will all be fragile with age. Just another thought if somebody here has a similar problem
