Finally got around to assembling a new shelving unit for the shed which provides storage for up to five mowers with space to spare for other things. I can only fit four here as the roof is not high enough. It has moved three mowers out of the way so far, freeing up much needed space. Each shelf has capacity for 150kg.

The 81 Mustang below on It's way to it's new digs.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Hi Alan,

you're seeing the good side but yeah, I try my best and you can at least get to everything with some shuffling around.

Cheers NormK.

$48 at Bunnings. Sturdy enough once assembled.
Was impressed at a fully assembled one on display.
Made by Montgomery.

Looks nice for now but just be aware that the particle board will droop over time more than regular plywood. I had those type of shelves myself and had rework them with plywood.

Sorry to be a bearer of bad news.

Most of my current shelving is made out what was once bed rails (angle iron) and 3/4" plywood. 24 x 48 x 72.

Thanks for the heads up AVB.

I will keep a look out for some and use the particle board as a template.
