Hi All,

I wonder if anyone could provide me with a close up photo of an idler arm from a 1980's Ryan Ren-o-thin scarifier?

I have an image of the current model which does help but it is a little different to the older, now obsolete model.

The Australian importer of Ryan equipment cannot confirm if the current version of the part will fit my machine.

Specifically I am wanting to see what the "snubber" looks like and its position from the idler pulley. I have attached a photo of the arm from a current manual for reference. The snubber is item "G"

My snubber is missing. I suspect it was welded on and has broken off.

Not sure how I will make another as I have never welded before but hopefully with an image of the actual arm I will be able to come up with something.

Thanks

Thanks for that.

I have seen that picture in another thread. Unfortunately that machine is much older than mine and the belt and idler arm setup is very different.
