Hi, I'v got a problem with a Tecumseh 207cc ultima engine on a Victa rotary mower
I have changed out the carburetor and replaced the primer bulb but the engine will only
run with the primer bulb assembly removed
any ideas?

Any chance its supposed to take the primer with the tiny hole in the middle? I have made that mistake before

All fixed and running

The mower came to me minus the primer bulb and I replaced with one without the little air hole in it
After your suggestion I changed the bulb to one with air hole and away she went lol

I have done the exact same thing on one one occasion and nearly done it on another.

They are a good engine - will rival a briggs quantum when running spot on
