Hello ODK history lovers
The release of the Victa Special broke with convention.
Introduced in about March of 1958 for the 1958 season,
it was a late starter - but it was a Godsend ....

I guess it was 'special' in that it may have been un-planned.
It not only saved Victa from the poor reception of the
one-season-or-so Automatic, the Special became a symbol
of Australia – an icon for Victa design and reliability.

The Rotomo was renamed the Victa Standard the previous season,
and Victa continued with a two-model line-up for 1958: The Standard
and the Special.

Here I present the Victa Special and Standard Instruction Booklet.

This manual is from my collection and it is in average condition.

I include the Warranty Card and an interesting inserted instruction
for fitting the included snorkel.
