Hi all

Thought I might share some pictures of my early 60's Rover. The engine is really uncommon 1961 80 series briggs, Found a correct starter for it on the weekend. Eveything is there bar a catcher, next on my to find list. starts and purrs beautifully

I cleaned it up and clear coated the deck and handles to save the really nice paint. Threw some vintage style hand grips on there and found an original style throttle control as well. Wheels are original, they are die cast with a bronze busing and a grease nipple, really different to the later rover wheels.

Hello nath,

Thanks for the share, no one seems to show much love for the early Rovers. That Briggs is a "tower of power". It does look like it was designed by a committee though! Never seen one quite like it.

I don't collect mowers. I just require Multiple Mowing Solutions™.
