Hi all
Just wondering after I loosen the governor pinch bolt does the governor arm get pushed to towards the carby or away from it and is the control lever on the handle bars in the fast position or in the off position.

Thank you
Glenn.

It is whichever direction that puts the engine at full throttle and the governor shaft is rotated in the same direction until it stops then you tighten the clamp bolt.

Hi all,

Good practice is to mark items with a fine point texta if it's two mating parts that need to be put back in the same position again after disassembly.

Especially good practice when there are splines involved.

Cheers,
BB.
