Hello ODK history lovers

Apart from the bricks and mortar, and a much smaller presence,
only the memories remain of the once great Ransomes’ Ipswich Works
in the county of Suffolk, East Anglia, England.

Ransomes – in the day – had 31 acres of factory space!



Ransomes did pretty much everything in-house at this facility: design, testing,
foundry, machining, assembly and dispatch. It was a huge business!

Today this area – expanded – is now known as the Ransomes Industrial Park,
and it is comprised of light industrial, logistics, retailers and offices.
