I have been watching a bit of the Stihl Timber Sports on Sat afternoon and I discovered that the Hot saws they are using are powered by a 360cc Honda motorcycle engine. No wonder all the blokes using them are huge, I'm not sure I could pick up a 360cc motorcycle engine these days, let alone cut through the logs the way they do

I've seen Chevrolet V8 chainsaws being operated by two men. Unsurprisingly, it cuts through a two foot diameter log like slicing through a Frankfurt.
The teeth must go through a lot of stress though.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.

Wow who would have thought a 253 would be so useful! They found its calling haha.
Love the lidded exhaust stacks and one man operated.

Talon is a better bait to use than ratsack as it's a back to base poison that will have the rat feel sick and then head back to the nest and eventually die. Then the other rats will attempt to eat him and then the same eventual outcome happens to them, by this cycle they will all be eventually be eradicated within the nest and not inside your home or shed etc.

and yes it is a tad more expensive but a far better outcome in my opinion.

Cheers,
BB.

A 253 is also good for a ride on mower.

Norm ,some people must accidentally poison possums when they put ratsak in the roof.

I think you are only allowed to trap a brushtail possum if it's in a building.

Anyone else remember the Kingswood Country episode where Ted shot himself trying to kill a possum in the roof with a rifle laugh

And one of my favourite Fast Forward Sketches is the ET sketch
