And when you google it Lance Hill gets all the credit for inventing the rotary clothes hoist, Gilbert does not get a mention.

I think there was a genuine desire to get history right - and show more detail.
Yes, commercial reality means that so much would remain unsaid in the final cut.
But so much more was said!!!
