I cut the nature strip and a strip of long grass inside a former bowing club converted into a fly by night looking function centre and it has been over a week since I did the job after approaching a guy I saw in the club gounds. We agreed on a modest price as it didn't include edging or leaf blowing. Just mowing and dumping the clippings in the bushes.
I could really have done it for free to be honest but he did agree to a price and said he would meet me the next day to pay me but it became dark by the time I finished and the weekend was coming up, so I didn't want to bother him at dinner time so left a text to say the job was done. On Monday.I called him and he said he was busy and couldn't meet me and asked why I didn't call him that day. When I explained why he said for me to leave my bank deposit details by text. Almost a week later and the money hasn't arrived. Should I just let it go or chase him further. I really don't mind having done it for free but it still bothers me that I have not got the agreed payment. What do you think?

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
