Hi Jeff I forgot to mention, the noise only comes in when opening the throttle from idle and it is a knocking noise, but as soon as the revs come up the it runs fine, as did the previous motor. Yes MF this second motor I put rings in and ran it on the original base and I didn't hear any strange noise then
