Hi Grub, A big warm welcome to the forum. It's nice to have you onboard. yay Here's hoping we can help you with any information you may require as we all love to learn things and tinker here wink .... And...... we love to see pics of your projects!!
PS, don't forget to log into chat sometime and say hi, we're often online after 8pm. laugh
Can you tell us what model it is?....I presume it's the Diplomat 430: in which case we have a manual for it in the "Parts List and Manuals" area. You can download the manual by clicking on 'My Stuff' located in the toolbar above; scroll down to 'subscriptions' and after making the donation you can access the manual you require in "Parts List and Manuals" area. wink
We may also be able to help you with it's approximate age if you can supply us with the complete engine number located on the Briggs and Stratton. grin
As for what it's worth.....This particular model of Scott Bonnar were discontinued at the take-over of S/B by Rover, and therefore are rarer than the Model 45, sometimes that is reflected in the prices they fetch......For one in really good condition, $300- $450....With ebay usually a lot cheaper, but you have to pay for delivery (if you can get a transport company to pick it up for you) or drive to location to pick it up yourself, which costs $$!! wink
As for parts, check right here at "Outdoor King" first, Bruce will assist if he can, if not there are other companies that can help with S/B parts. wink

Please do not PM me asking for support. Please post your questions in the appropriate forums, as the replies it may receive may help all members, not just the individual member.
