I bought one of these motors some years ago and I couldn't see how the bolt pattern could be Briggs/Honda as claimed but I just ended up drilling holes to suit. I see the seller still claims they are Briggs pattern but I fail to see that it is. I have contacted them and asked for the measurement of the 2 bolt holes on the crank end of the base plate. They say it is 200mm, and I believe after recent discussions on here that the Briggs is 179mm. I don't think they even match push mower pattern. Anybody have any thoughts?
