I crammed that stuff on top of the regular packing on a Chinese cast Powertorque. It sounds ok but not extraordinarily quiet. Piston bounces back just
before the motor stops winding down completely. Could excess exhaust restriction as a result of this packing be the reason?

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
