Damn, time to eat humble pie.
Got down to ground level, manually spinning the reel over grass.
And.... lots of grass is NOT getting cut, just damaged.....
I am going to say that you are correct, my machine is out of alignment due to my learning curve of not hitting HARD STUFF.
I will update after another trip to see Steve.
