Hi Gadge, no the Briggs was not an original fit, it was a real bush job that had been jacked up on a bit of plate but it did what it had to do. I have now cut a hole in the center of it so I can fit and remove a motor on it with the pulley still on it. Took me about 7 hours to remove the motor and get the pulley off. Easy when you put things together and weld bits in place and getting those rusty pulleys off in situ can be a real pain.
