Gidday wce ,Jack.
The Turner no name base looks blue in the image but it's the same green hammertone finish as the PYE mower .
I thinks it's more likely a later model than an earlier model to the 1959 Turner because the 1958 Carter has one piece handler bars .
I was wondering if it could possibly be a McEwans 1961 Special with a Villiers Torque master engine.
The two most outer holes in the deck, maybe for a Windrower or a heat shield for the 2 stroke exhaust?
Yes the multiple mounting holes suggest a few engine options would be possible with this base.
Not sure if I will see another Turner store brand mower the same for more info.
Last Pic Turner with Kirby engine for comparison.(not sure where I found the silver Turner image)
Cheers Max.
