Hi CyberJack and Bonnar_Bloke,

thank you both for your kind words, as for the details though please read below:

PAINT:

The paint was sourced from Protec and was not mixed to match (colour - Olive Green). This was because the sample given did look under their lights like the original as I did compare it with a piece of the mower. To paint the mower I used a etch primer from Dulux as I sandblasted the entire mower back to bare metal. The hammertone paint was thinned out using enamel thinners and then applied using a spray gun. the reel on the other hand was sprayed using a Dulux pressure pack (spray can) over etch primer masking of the shaft on either end for the bearings. In addition, to further protect the reel, 3 gloss clear coats were sprayed over the paint. On the other hand for the front roller assembly and various other parts, a zinc spray was applied and protected using a clear coat.

REEL GRINDING:

The reel and bed-knife were ground by "Steve Rose" at Australian Saws & Blade and Cylinder Blade Sharpening Service on Research Road Pooraka, SA. I also had Steve replace the bearings and the bed knife screws while he was at it. Furthermore, the holes for the bed-knife had a tap passed through for extra measure.
