Had a soft spot for this little mower and in the end decided to keep it. Its pretty basic with minimal working parts, engines are bullet proof so over the past 2 weeks i undertook a mild restoration. Did some searching on paint colours and found out these were used for the Suffolk Colt in the UK John Deere Green (available at cervus stores) - Recommend this for any Qualcast/ Suffolk rebuild Westwood orange i substituted for Chevy orange (definitely not International orange) Couldn't fine Hammerite smooth thyme so went with a pale eucalypt Think i spent about $40 on paint. I used a wire wheel and degreaser to remove the old junk and painted straight over the top Pics will tell the story, but an enjoyable little project. Petrol Tank didnt fit the other engine cowl i had so drilled a few holes
