Yes Norm, they are like hens teeth around here and yes, it's a rather long 300km drive from here to the other side of Melbourne!
Freebird, we do have a small wind turbine but the problem is we have long periods in the winter without any wind and not enough sunlight for solar.
Fisher & Paykel washing machine motors are considered to be the best for wind turbine applications.
