I put the motor on a massport base. Just to test the motor.
Pulled it many times with raw fuel in plug hole.... no luck
Cleaned out the jelly out of the carb bowl, and started with my bosch electric drill special starter......
It started and ran ok, but only at idle... I need to adjust the screw on bottom of the bowl, so i am hoping i can adjust that to bring revs up, or check points.
But pleased to get rip van winkle started after a long sleep......................
then I'll need another base a s this massport one is meant for a long shaft motor......
all good, things take time and it's all learning on every project.
