Hello Mowerfreak Yes, this was one of the the last Models Pope made. For whatever reason, Pope never moved to plastic catchers.
My father bought me one of these Popes new when I was just a teen. I think he wanted me to earn my own pocket money. I have fond memories of that lawnmower.
