Sorry prd if you get all your news from the ABC no wonder you don't realise that they have changed the level at which parents now qualify for NDIS support. No longer need to be officially a carer or on a disability pension. If your child is "developmentally delayed" which used to require actual medical proof then you qualify. Thanks to S.A. insisting on lowering the bar now if your child is just lagging behind at school you qualify for support. The Turnbull government applied S.A.'s lax requirement nationally and the scheme is now absolutely rife for scam artists.
