Just an update on my Aussie 2 stroke. Yesterday I went to fire it up and it ran and stopped on its own and then wouldn't turn over at all. So back to Stanfords with it!
It was still under warranty (only 4 days old) They were a bit surprised that it had failed (power torque engines being almost indestructible) So they said they would look at it and they decided to give me a brand new one instead and I was able to procure the box for it.I hope that this one lasts a bit longer.
I found out what had caused the problem. It was the circlip on the gudgeon pin falling out and the pin hitting the exhaust manifold> It had also scoured cylinder as well. That mower was going to be shipped back to victa with a please explain. Has any one else had this fault happen? All in all Stanfords were very helpful with the whole situation and got me going again.
