I'm sure your eye for often neglected items is a reward in itself.
I admire the folk that save and preserve the almost forgotten.
Your finding of the Grasshopper reel is a real treat.
It is not often realized that Grasshopper were making rotary mowers
before Victa, and their first petrol machine was advertised in November
of 1952 ... meaning that this was within weeks of Victa's first
rotary lawnmower!
