i dont know about you guys but the reason i can collect vintage mowers is because its a relatively inexpensive hobby.
i have lots of mowers but i didn't spend very much for any of them.
they are my treasures.
all of which my wife will happily get rid of when i am gone
if i could actually afford to buy an expensive vintage mower then it would have to be much rarer than that one.
Alas that's never going to happen for me.
and if i were rich i would probably be spending my money on more elaborate toys than old mowers.
So in summing up . i think that the real value of an item that you love, it doesn't have to be expensive to be cherished.
