Thanks Bushy, I went through that manual, and all i have done is adjusted rod which seems to have fixed the problem...I have only given it a short test as there is no grass to mow at the moment but it seems strong...again thanks for your help and i will let you know if the problem comes back...I think i might do a complete oil and filter change also...cheers
