It seems there were there a lot of mowers sold under different names. My dad had my Pas that was a Waltens. Which was a local store brand Victa with a gold low arch base and 160.
A while ago the scrappy had a beautiful low arch gold base Myre brand Victa.
The cable tie and duct tape is the modern blokes answer to the fencing wire/hay band I reckon.
