Hello to all ODK members, also to Mods, not sure if I have put this in the right topic, please move if I haven't.Sorry if it is in the wrong spot.
OK as we all know this is a place to help and learn from others, and once again it is time for me to learn. After doing some work to my Scott Bonnar model 49 I have found that there is rust inside the fuel tank. Now this being a Kirby 2 stroke (not being the easiest engines to find)I don't want to run the risk of sending rust through the engine. So I need to find a way to remove and or stop the rust from continuing to form inside the tank. Now I can't pull the tank apart (wished I could) as I'd never get it back together again.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem I'm having?
Sorry I can't show you any pictures as it's not leading upload them it says there there but it doesn't display them.
