I actually had a caravan years ago which the kids called "The TARDIS", because they swore it was bigger on the inside than on the outside. However it achieved its miracle by avoiding having a vast amount of non-functional furniture like the one in your picture, Jack.

Having a TARDIS isn't all beer and skittles, because there is an implausibly large amount of storage space in it, and when you are going around Australia the little woman will fill all of it with surprisingly heavy stuff. My caravan threw two tyre treads on the first trip, at a steady 70 km/h. The second time we went, I'd fitted a pair of new LT tyres inflated to 80 psi. No further tyre trouble was experienced.

There's a solution to most problems, the trick is to find it.
