One thing I have found is that when I upgraded the recommended Champion plug to this Japanese made NGK variant the performance is increase by a far more stable spark under load...
Don't choose this plug because it's too long and can be bent if you knock it on something. I say this because I bent mine because it protrudes past the head bolt lugs on the cylinder head.
The plug performs without issue but is too long and hence can be exposed to bending or breakage as it is unprotected from knocks!
