I am trying to find the power supply to the starter motor, I have power to the regulator, but the only wire that goes to the starter is the black earth lead ? . Well I am assuming it is the earth as it is black. I have power to the hour meter which then goes to the contact button which when pushed no power seems to seems to come out of the other terminal. And on the on/off switch one side is connected to the motor like a earth and then down to the magneto on the fly wheel, so is this power or a earth on/off ? I just don,t see how it all works
