Hi. Thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth. I'm discovering the joys of Victas, and have had the same problem. In the end I used a 13/16th spanner on the nut below the pulley and an oil filter wrench (a few dollars at Kmart) to grip the pulley. Came apart very quickly. Hope anyone finds this useful. Terry.
