Another question for you, or the other experts out there, I don't want to spend too much dosh on this machine, so am wondering, what would be better:-
- Buy a new set of rings ($10), and re-use the piston after I clean it up, and go buy a engine hone($22), and hone the barrel, for a total of $32, or
- Buy a piston and ring kit ($28) and just try and use some very fine wet and dry on the barrel?
On top of the above I would need to get a new head gasket, air filter and a service kit for the carby, so just trying to limit how much I spend on this old girl, if I decide to get her going......
