G'day Gary the blades are still what came on the mower but look the same as what's on any rover push mower,but I will know for sure when I go to get a new set...Yep just flip the side chute up and say bye bye clippings and I do wear safety glasses but the way the side chute is way out the side nothing comes back at you its good like that... I picked up all the sticks and rocks and mowed this strip to split the paddock in half for when Im burning off in winter the 53 powered through it like nothing,still have about 20m to go so yeah giving the old girl a good work out.
